"Desi G" the Beautiful Singing Sensation

Desi G is the current popular Hearthrob, teenage Singing Sensation. Her full name is Despina Gkioulis. Her stage name is Desi G.  Her last name is hard to pronounce for many hence the G.
Desi was born and raised in Vancouver BC, Canada. She has a deep passion for learning new things, connecting with people, and of course music. She has been influenced by her idols Celine Dion, Billie Eilish and Adele. 
Talking about Music, Desi says,"Music has always been a part of who I am and is literally part of who I am. I started performing onstage when she was 6 years old.  I have performed at school, local events and festivals. I have had a passion for singing since i was able to string 3-4 words together".
At the age of 7, she participated in a school play where she was featured as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. Between the ages of 8-10 years of age she auditioned and was cast in 3 formal semi professional plays through Delta Youth Theater. Desi has played an Elf, Saleswoman, A New Yorker and Chadwick in Elf Jr, Flounder in little Mermaid Jr and Molly in Annie Jr.

Desi also likes to dabble in films. She was also featured in a commercial for Xfinity. Besides singing and acting Desi plays several instruments.  Desi confesses, "I am in no way an expert with instruments but I enjoy making tunes. Another passion of mine is singing in different languages. I have sang in Greek, Italian, Hindi and Spanish."
One of Desi's songs that has been released on December 31/2020 is Dance Monkey it has garnered 58 thousand views to date. And in January 18, "She used to be mine" was released.Currently Desi is working with producer Andrew Van Slee (produced Michael Bublé) on original material and is currently working on her first album. Her music is on several social media platforms.
2020 has been a huge turning point in Desi's music career where Music Producer Andrew Van Slee took her in and guided her through my first album. Desi is extremely excited,"We’re just at the final stages of it being completed, so we can launch it and it will be fully released Feb 14/2021. It will consist of eight covers of songs that I really enjoy where I put my own twist to them as well as an original song called On My Own. So stay tuned, I’m so excited to be able to share my album with everyone."
