It's an honour to have you on my "Leslie Show". I have "Leslie's Burning Questions" for you to answer

Leslie01- How would you describe yourself in 3 words

Salil-Simple ,Sensitive, Creative

Leslie 02. Where are you from, which three cities/countries you love to travel to and why?

Salil- I am from Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

I have extensively toured within India & 3 places really loved & would again like to visit are,

Gangtok- Its serene and picturesque mountain views are breathtaking.

Gir Forest- If you’re an Environment enthusiast and a Mango lover. Well, do visit Gir forest in Junagadh district of Gujarat. If you’re lucky enough, you can see the majestic Asiatic Lions in a wild Safari. If not other beautiful wildlife is there to amaze you. Also, Keshar Mangoes are delicious.

Calangute, Goa- I found the pristine beaches & the serene sky so peaceful 😍

Leslie 03- How would you describe your Life-journey so far? Did you ever feel like an outsider?

Salil- It has been full of ups and downs. I had my fair share of failures and success. However, I feel the most crucial facet of life is to enjoy the same.

I had the all-important exposure to the realities of life from a very young age since I participated in various events where yeah life was not always so fair.

When I joined law and eventually tried to take longer leaps from Day 1. I understood in my profession outsiders means you don't have references or contacts or you're a newbie.

However, I can happily say I didn't have any & I focused upon building human relationships not mere contacts so that I always felt surrounded by known people who believe in me & want me to get all the success in my life.

I can proudly say in the legal fraternity people are very kind & if you make an effort to build human relationships selflessly. Someway or other it eventually helps. Just be honest in anything you do is the success mantra of my life.

Leslie4- what's the first thing you would do once the Lockdown is lifted

Salil- My whole perspective of life has changed. Earlier I used to pull myself back from certain things and not indulge because I had a particular idea.

Now I would thoroughly enjoy myself in anything I do & do everything without judgement.

Leslie5-What are your fav childhood memories

Salil- On my birthday I became the deputy head boy in my school it was like a birthday gift. Also, Leslie & I almost share our birthday. Maybe that’s the reason we bond together so well.

6- What's the most memorable day of your life?

I was meeting and interacting with Former President of India Late, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.

After I had a personal interaction, we went to a hall to listen to his mesmerising speech. I didn’t get a seat, so I sat on the stairs right in front of him.

He was so humble, from the podium, he asked the volunteers to get me a seat. I said I don’t mind sir, and I just want to listen to you. He smiled & continued.

He’s so down to earth.

7- Who or what inspires you to keep progressing and succeeding in life

I feel the power of crush is a strong feeling; the fascination could be for a person or a position or achievement or something else. Whatever be it that makes one work passionately to achieve it no matter what sort of hardship one has to bear.

I thinking keeping such a goal or a crush can make us achieve what we aspire for & at the same time we enjoy the journey 😉

Leslie8- How do you handle moments of defeat, failure, rejection.

Salil- Just having the power of crush isn't enough but to feel blessed. We have to make some choices ourselves & no one else can instil those in us.

That choice is to feel blissful & have a constructive approach towards any mission in our life. Personally, such a outlook has helped me cope up with rejections or failure.

No, I have never been defeated. I have never seen the life that way. There's always a second chance in we do & there's a positive with every negative.

Till the day we hold hope in our heart till that day we win. The day we lose it, all we are indeed defeated.

Also, I feel expectations makes us feel miserable. So no expectations mean no misery.

Leslie 9- What makes you the happiest

Salil- The smile that my name brings on Leslie's face in her incredible live shows. I love them & do join next time you would love it too ❤️
