Your upcoming project "The Mountain Hockey" is creating a buzz so is "Sambalpuri Weavers". Congratulations. As a young filmmaker from Odisha, and being a journalism student your prime passion is to search & trace the unexplored & untold stories & capture it in a visual medium.Your brave story telling and magical storytelling has brought a new wave of fresh air for movie goers. I am from Sambalpur, Odisha. I am very much fond of traveling to ancient tribal places and places of natural organic thing.
Leslie: How would you describe your Life-journey so far
Avinash: Still a learner, imaginating things differently and tentatively applying!!
Leslie: What's the first thing you would do once the Lockdown is lifted
Avinash: After lockdown, I'll focus on my Dream line project which has already completed more than a half...

Avinash: Meditation with exercise.

Avinash: Before Lockdown, I was quite busy in all my projects. In lockdown, I was giving all my time to my family & narrating new stories...
Leslie: What are your fav childhood memories
Avinash: i- Moving to the cinema theatre with school friends without acknowledging parents. ii- Tripling to Hirakud dam through cycling which is around 20 km away from home.
Leslie: What comes to your mind when I say the word "Family"
Avinash: Unconditional love.
Leslie: What's the best compliment you have ever received
Avinash: One of my friend- "Things have changed drastically, the way we think you before had totally fled away. You're just a great and I am really inspired by your achievement and hope all have a willful journey ahead.
Leslie: What's the most memorable day of your life
Avinash: On posting the first-ever poster of my upcoming documentary film 'The Mountain Hockey' in a social media platform , The reviews and feedback I just received from the lead cast of that film, the hockey girls who strive on a tribal village. I just got amazed and glare to hear such compliments. I feel so happy on seeing the happiness on their faces. That day was the most memorable day of my life

Avinash: My Mother...
Leslie: How do you handle moments of defeat, failure, rejection.
Avinash: Whenever I get into those negative situations in life, I just make myself calm and take a step to rectify the mistakes which I have committed due to which I have to go through that negativity.
Leslie: What makes you the happiest
Avinash: I feel the most happy during travel diaries when I met the small-town people residing in such a place, their knowing lifestyle, and day to day activities.
