McKenzie Westmore: Hollywood Child Actress to Beauty Mogul

Hi McKenzie Westmore,

You are a popular Hollywood Actress and you own a successful Cosmetic Empire "Westmore Beauty".

 You were born and raised in Los Angeles, started acting at the age of 3 in "Raging Bull" as Robert De Niro’s daughter. From there continued acting, singing opera and dancing. In 1999 joined the soap opera "Passions" on NBC for 9 years. After that became the host of Syfy’s "Face Off" for 13 seasons.

1-How would you describe yourself in 3 words

McKenzie- In 3 words: loving, thoughtful,

self-less

2- Where are you from , which 3 cities/countries you love to travel to and why

McKenzie- I'm born and raised in Los

Angeles, CA. My favorite places to visit are: Paris, France (we have a home and family

there. So many great memories

for me and my husband).Williamsburg, Virginia. As a child it was my favorite place to visit and has always held my heart.

Anywhere in Alaska. I toured there years ago and it's just magical!

3-How would you describe your Life-journey so far

McKenzie- My life journey for the most part has been Blessed but not without difficulties. From having money stolen by people I trusted to health issues. With

the good there's always some bad but I keep a positive outlook.

4- What was it like acting at tender age of 3 that too playing the daughter of Hollywood Legend Robert De Niro. What are your fond memories from this shoot.

McKenzie- I was so young I don't

remember anything. I met back

with him years later and he was

So sweet to me.

5-What's the first thing you do when you wake up

McKenzie- Cuddle with my husband

before coffee which he so sweetly serves me every morning in bed.

6-You are a Success story , what's a normal day schedule like in your life...(the way it was before lockdown and during lockdown)

McKenzie- Before covid my days were

always changing. When I was filming Face Off it was totally different. After Face Off I

focused on QVC and my company Westmore Beauty. A typical day would be getting

my son to school. Phone Meetings regarding product development or rehearsal for an upcoming QVC show. An audition here or there. Always gym time which luckily I have a

home gym to stay in shape. Go over all social media outlets to see if there are any questions | can answer on my products.

I'm very hands on. I also love to keep busy with rodan and fields

selling for charity on Poshmark, also working with Starsona to fulfill fan wishes and continue to give to charity. Pickup my son from school. Take our dog for a run. Prepare for dinner. Help my husband cook. Watch

a movie and try to be to bed by 11pm. If I had a Qvc appearance the day would be spent heading to the airport and preparing for that.

7-What are your favourite childhood lessons/memories of growing up as the daughter of award-winning "Star Trek: The Next Generation" MakeUp Artist "Michael Westmore"

McKenzie- My dad always taught me to

work hard and always respect those around you no matter who they were! I remember

Brent Spiner giving me voice lessons. That was such a treat !!!

8-What message you want to give to your younger self.

McKenzie- Try not to take things too serious. It all works out in the end.

9-What's the best compliment you have ever received

McKenzie- Any compliment from my

husband.

10-What's the most memorable day of your life

McKenzie- So many to list :)

11-What's your favourite quote

McKenzie- It's odd but because it brings

me back to my childhood " red sky in the morning, sailors warning. Red sky at night, a

sailors delight"

McKenzie- Sushi !!

13-Who or what inspires you to keep progressing and succeeding in life

McKenzie- My husband, parents and son. I

want to be the best wife and continue to impress my husband. I want to make my

parents proud and I want to always give my son a mother to look up to.

14-How do you handle moments of defeat, failure, rejection.

McKenzie- I cry. That simple. I take time to

mourn a defeat but then pick myself up and go after it again.

McKenzie- My family

McKenzie- April 26. Usually chill or i love

medieval times because it's so cheesy and fun!

McKenzie- I see myself possibly living in

France continuing to grow my company and having started new ones.
