Hi Rupa Chak,

You are an All India Radio artist trained in Hindustani classical music under guru shishya parampara by her guru her mother who wasa disciple of Padmabhushan Jnan Prakash Ghosh.Rupa you are a passionate vocalist of light music, Sufi, Ghazal, Bhajan,
bollywood.
You has collaborated with legends like Jagjit Singh, Anup Jalota,
Suresh Wadekar, Sukhwinder Singh, Vinod Rathod and Udit Narayan to name a few for various albums as well as music concerts. You have performed in live shows with Actors like Salman Khan, Dia Mirza,
Dharmendra and many others in India and abroad.

Your first Single "Baawri" the melodious expression of Earth was composed by Maestro Uttam Singh . It appealed hearts with its theme "Save Earth- Save Life" .Congratulations.

Leslie 1-How would you describe yourself in 3 words

Rupa- 1.Optimistic
          2. Fun loving
          3. Foodie

Leslie 2- Where are you from , which 3 cities/countries you love to travel to and why

Rupa- 1. Kolkata. Being a bengali and artist I love everything about that city.
2. Delhi- My home. I did my graduation from Kirorimal College, Delhi University.
3. Netherlands - Because of the responsive and loving audience apart from the beauty.

Leslie 3-How would you describe your Life-journey so far. Did you ever feel like an outsider? 

Rupa- Adventurous journey. I am born in Asansol, raised in Bokaro, studied in Delhi and working in Mumbai. 
  I have always strived to be a better artist and doing my best. Never paid attention to anything else. 

Leslie 4- what's the first thing you would do once the Lockdown is lifted

Rupa- I hope we can resume work. I am missing recording sessions at recording studios. 

Leslie 5-What's the first thing you do when you wake up 

Rupa- I start my day with my riyaz. 

Leslie 6-You are a success story , what's a normal day schedule like in your life...(the way it was before lockdown and currently during lockdown)

Rupa- Apart from cooking myself nothing much has changed during lockdown. Starting with Riyaz and breathing exercises,  followed by breakfast and regular tasks. I wrap up my day with a prayer of gratitude for whatever I have

Rupa- My school days are fav phase of my life

Leslie 8-What comes to your mind when I say the word "Family"

Rupa- Pride

Leslie 9-What's the best compliment you have ever received

Rupa- When people mentioned that my music has inspired them to learn and practice music. I think that's the biggest compliment for any artist.

Leslie 10-What's the most memorable day of your life

Rupa- The day I landed in Mumbai to pursue my passion (Music)

Leslie 11--What's your fav quote

Rupa- Live and Let Live

Rupa- Indian cuisine/Herbal tea with honey

Leslie 13-Who or what inspires you to keep progressing and succeeding in life

Rupa- Love of my family, friends and followers inspires me to keep moving ahead.

Leslie 14-How do you handle moments of defeat, failure, rejection.

Rupa-  I accept and embrace the emotions first than try to understand where I went wrong or how to improve to get the desired results.

Leslie 15-What makes you the happiest

Rupa- Happiness is my choice, I don't depend on anything to make me happy.
