Hi Kiran Rout,

You are one of the top upcoming great Singers from Odisha. At the age of 15, you received State level awards for your singing talent. You have made it to top 20 of Sare GA ma pa and you are a qualified degree holder in Classical Music. Also you are an upcoming youtuber. Congratulations on your artistic, creative feat.

It's an honour to have you on my "Leslie Show" again, I have "Leslie's Burning Questions" for you to answer

1-How would you describe yourself in 3 words

Kiran: Diligent , Dulcet , Determined 

2- Where are you from , which 3 cities/countries you love to travel to and why

Kiran: I'm from Balasore , Odisha , India .  

I love to visit " The United Kingdom " and  " USA " for culturing on Western Classical Music and have dream to go on a bike ride to Ladakh with my close friends .

3-How would you describe your Life-journey so far

Kiran: Born on 29th July 2000 and  started learning music in just 3 yrs old . I Performed on stage for the first time in 4 yrs old and Cleared Radio Audition ( Singing ) on A.I.R in 5 yrs . Unfortunately due to some infection and Asthma tendency my singing career was in the dark after that Radio Audition . My parents were very worried but they always tried their best to recover me and in the meantime I learnt instruments like Tabla , Keyboard , Tanpura etc . With God's grace I was recovered when I was in 7th standard and my musical journey started again. I got selected in a reality show " Prarthana Pratibha " in 2014 and awarded their by best devotional singers of Odisha. Then I got selected in many realty shows like " Music Mahasangram " in Zee Kalinga Tv , " Swara Odisha Ra " in Sarthak TV but the best day came when I participated in SURAVI annual event by "SCHOOL AND MASS EDUCATION DEPARTMENT ODISHA" and selected to State Level getting first position in cluster level , block level and district level and finally awarded by Chief Minister Of ODISHA Shree Naveen Pattnayak . Then I was In Sare Gama Pa upto top 20 in Zee Sarthak Tv. Got my Music Visharad Degree in Hindustani Classical Music from Prayag Sangeet Samiti Allahabad in 2018. And my journey is going on till now and I'm chasing my dreams. 

4- what's the first thing you would do once the Lockdown is lifted

Kiran: Once the lockdown is lifted I'm gonna make lots of music videos and go for a outdoor shoot for my videos and will upload it on my YouTube channel .

5-What's the first thing you do when you wake up 

Kiran: When I wake up in the morning first of all I freshen myself up and start Morning Riyaaz on Clasical Music and on other instruments .

6-You are a success story , what's a normal day schedule like in your life...(the way it was before lockdown and currently during lockdown)

Kiran: On normal days I used to wake up by 8th in the morning , get myself ready for my classes and whole day was with busy schedule but in lockdown time I'm waking up at 5-30 in the morning and getting myself ready for music practice . I'm getting much time and using it for Music , study , helping my parents in their works and spending good times with family.

7-What are your fav childhood memories

Kiran: My fav childhood memory was when I qualified Radio Audition ( Singing ) on A.I.R. I was just 5 yrs old and got lots of complements that day . I can't forget that day and whenever I remember that I visualise everything abt that Best Day.

8-What comes to your mind when I say the word "Family"

Kiran: For me my parents ,  my well wishers and all my Supporters  are my family . They mean a whole world to me.

9-What's the best compliment you have ever received

Kiran: During Sare Gama Pa on Zee Sarthak Tv bollywood singer Krishna Behura sir praised me a lot in the Top 45 round . I sang " Teri Justajoo Saware " song and he was impressed by me very much. It's the best compliment I have ever received .

10-What's the most memorable day of your life

Kiran: Getting award from Chief Minister Of ODISHA Shree Naveen Pattnayak on SURAVI Annual Event ( State Level ) is the most  memorable day of my Life.

11--What's your fav quote

Kiran: My fav quote is " Without music life would be a mistake "

12-What's your fav food/drink

Kiran: My favourite foods are  Chicken Biriyani and Hamburger . The drink I love most is Black Currant Shake . 

13-Who or what inspires you to keep progressing and succeeding in life

Kiran: I consider bollywood playback singer Arijit Singh as my inspiration and his life story and struggling days inspire me to work hard and progressing in life to get success.

14-How do you handle moments of defeat, failure, rejection

Kiran: I have seen these 3 worst things defeat , failure and rejection many times in my life and at that time I love to keep quiet and to be alone until I find my mistake . After that I love to spend times with my close friends and if there's a mistake I just try to rectify that .

15-What makes you the happiest

Kiran: My success , music , musical instruments and spending time with my family and close friends make me the happiest.

On my birthday I love to visit temple and spend whole day  with family and friends and we have parties.

Kiran: Working hard to see me in bollywood music industry and in tollywood industry also
