Leslie interviews Pranav Waidande, co-founder of Road Rangers

|LT: Hi Pranav Waidande, Team Road Rangers, welcome to "My Legacy with Leslie" I deeply admire your fabulous journey and how you and your friends united to form Road Rangers in Mumbai creating awareness for road safety, and upbeat causes like womens safety. Please tell us more about it.
PW: First of all thank you very much for inviting us and having a conversation with us and showing interest in our club and our cause. This club was founded by 3 of us i.e. me, vivek and prashant. Three of us met on a cause ride of 'swach sarvekshan' and their we had a chat and our thoughts and passion for biking bought us together and we formed a group of three people which further grew to a big family of 60 now becoming one of the most fast growing clubs.
LT: How do you prioritise your day with so much work and duties going in your life
PW: Frankly speaking Me being a student first i need to focus on my studies coz that is all that matters, but biking is more than passion for me , its much like meditation. Which relieves me from all my stress and makes me feel alive. While riding i feel the horsepower within me, my connection with my bike and i feel like i belong somewhere. Its an awesome feeling and every member of our club exoeriences it
LT: What causes you are passionate about
PW: There are many but the main cause we formed this group for is to make roads safer for everyone. Make everyone follow road safety and traffic rules.
I ll give u an example, even if a man goes from rong side just for say 10 secs still he can cause an enourmous accident. Same goes with a person skipping a signal or person talking on phone while driving
LT: What were the defining moments and advise that helped you achieve your goals
PW: I will tell u about a recent incident. If u check our page u ll be aware that we are doing a coastal ride named THE DAKSHIN DIGVIJAY in which we will cover 7 states in 9 days. Many people and bikers from our society often tell us that its impossible and not worth giving a try. Thats wat inspires us, to do things which others think are impossible
LT: Do you have any icons that you look upto
PW: The feat which we want to achieve , no one has ever done it before, so for now, our self belief is our icon.
LT: Do u watch movies, which are your 5 fav movies of all time
PW: Yes i am a movie buff and there have to be many. All the marvel movies are my fav and i also enjoy watching short films. I really loved a french short film La Accourde
LT: Your fav books
PW: i usually read either something mythical or things which deal with time travel and parallel universes and multiverse. To name a few 'mrutyunjay' , 'brief history of time'
LT: Whats your motto in general
PW: Discipline- Brotherhood- Dedication and always stay loyal to urself and ur principles
LT:What do you think is plaguing the youth today
PW: Being a psychology student, i would say their attitude of 'i know everything'.
LT: What is your message to youth today?
PW: Life is short and world is too big, u can even learn from people younger than u. Never stop learning. Get influenced by good things. Break the rules, but for a good cause. Respect women, empower women.
LT: What is your legacy according to you?
PW: we have a long way to go . I would rather say the journey has just started. We dont want people to remember us, but they should remember for wat cause we took so many efforts. Keep the roads safe. Follow traffic rules, practice road safety coz u have a family who is waiting for u in the same way the other person is also having a family, keep the country clean.

LT:Where do you see yourself, 5 years from now
PW: Doing much bigger feats, completing all India ride. Riding to other countries and more importantly, maybe u might be interviewing us for doing guiness world record for riding from north pole to south pole i.e. from artic to antartic.
